Dave,
i'm wondering how you get such great looking surface texture onto the styrene models you build. I know the CRARRV was built in the 80's etc and so will have a cleaner texture due to better procedures and qc control of the rolling process at the steel mill so I know I'd need to tweak it to get something appropriate. Don't suppose you'd share your Secret to doing that would you??
Cheers

Hi Andy,
Nothing secret, just Mr Surfacer 500, stipple it on with a wide flat brush and keep stippling until it holds the look you want, sand it a little when dry then do some more till you get an effect you like.
If you want it to look like the top surface has flaked off in places leave little areas where you don't apply any second or third coat.
Cheers
